The conference hotel is located on the edge of the Old Town and within easy reach of the airport (15 km) and railway station (300 m). Gdansk Airport has regular flights from many international airports (Berlin, Cologne-Bonn, Copenhagen, Dortmund, Dublin, Edinburgh, Frankfurt, Glasgow, Hamburg, Liverpool, London, Lubeck, Munich, Oslo, Stockholm) as well as domestic airports (Wroclaw, Cracow, Warsaw). Gdansk can be easily reached by air - direct flights to Gdansk-Trojmiasto-Airport from many international airports, as well as from Warsaw by domestic flights (5 flights a day). The capital airport Okecie in Warsaw can be reached from all main European airports offering frequent connections to all European capital cities. There are also ferry connections from Copenhagen, Nynäsham and Karlskrona. Another option is to travel to Gdansk by train via Warsaw. There is daily PKP Intercity train connections with such European cities like: Berlin, Cologne, Prague, Vienna, or Budapest. Gdansk-Trojmiasto Airport is one of the three main Polish international airports. The airport is located roughly 10 km from the centre of Gdansk and 11 and 23 km from Sopot and Gdynia, respectively.

The easiest way to get from the airport to Gdansk is by taxi. A taxi rank is located in front of the main entrance to the passenger terminal and is serviced by Taxi Plus (tel. 96-86, 96-25). The taxi fare for the drive from the airport to the conference Hotel Mercure-Hevelius is around 10 Euros (45 PLN). An alternative is a bus link by two city bus lines 110 and B. In this case the ticket cost is approximately 1 Euro (4.5 PLN). There is also an option to rent a car. The following car-rental companies have their offices at the airport: AVIS, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, and National Car Rental.
