The IXth Polish Hydropower Conference HYDROFORUM 2019– back to tradition
Added: 17.04.2019

Still in December 2018 the Organising Committee of the Polish Hydropower Conferences took decision to change the second term of the conference cycle naming from RENEXPO Poland to HYDROFORUM. With such a step, we refer directly to the cycle of techno-scientific conferences organized in the period between 1973 and 2005 by the Szewalski Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of the Polish Academy of Sciences under collaboration with various partners, including the Polish Hydropower Association. Since the previous year, we continue also the tradition of holding our debates in direct neighbourhood of hydropower installations. This year conference will debate on October 9-10th at Solina Lake in the South-Eastern Poland, at foothills of Bieszczady Mountain Range. As before, the conference scope envisages a debate on the hydropower status in Poland and other Euro-pean countries in context of their current policy as well as contributions on techno-scientific aspects of hydro-power engineering. Additionally, a technical visit to Solina Hydropower plant will take place. The conference is organized jointly by the Polish Hydropower Association, the Szewalski Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery and the Polish Association for Development of Small Hydropower Plants. The strategic partner of the conference is the PGE Energia Odnawialna (PGE Renewable Energy) SA company.  For further details, please consult the relevant documents to be downloaded from this website.
