The research conducted in the Heat Transfer Department concerns heat exchange during phase change (boiling, condensation), refrigeration systems and two-phase flow electrohydrodynamics (condensation process in electric field and electrostatic precipitators). More specific investigations concern the area of ejector cooling technology and application of electric field for intensification of heat exchange, fly ash separation or dust removal and microchannel flow control.
