Ms Renata Opieka was born in 1982 in Gdynia. She studied Finance and Banking at the University of Gdansk in years 2001-2006.

In 2006 she obtained her M.Sc. degree in finance from the faculty of public finance. Her thesis was connected with value add tax in Poland comparing with EU. In year 2006-2008 she worked in The Gdansk Institute for Market Economics - The Gdansk Academy of Banking as a specialist of finance in European Union Project Euroster - Partnership for adaptabilities of shipbuilding industry employees. In January 2009 she joined the Mechanics of Intelligent Strucutres Department group at the Szewalski Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery as a specialist of finance in project MONIT - Monitoring of technical state of construction and evaluation of its lifespan.
