A Method of Analysis of the Axi-Symmetrical Flow in the Blade Channels of Turbines

Abstract

In a situation where the special structure of the stream in a turbine depends of vast number of geometrical and kinetic factors as well as on the flow properties, oniy the application of digital computers enables the researcher to carry out a full analysis of all the processes involved. Apart of the experiments the numerical experiments become at presented an important means of carrying out research. The method presented in this paper may be  in practice utilized fully only with the help of a digital computer.
